FAST Spring-10-13

Victoria Lane Academy (VLA) has embarked upon an exciting new initiative – FAST (Families and Schools Together). This started on the first week of January with parents, community members and staff are all working and learning together in this exciting Save the Children sponsored programme.

Save the Children say – Families and Schools Together (FAST) is an award-winning project that supports parents to improve children’s learning and development at home, so they can reach their full potential at school.

Our project has got off to an excellent start and after a recent coffee afternoon there are now 15 families sign up ready to start on the 27th January. But don’t worry, it is not to late to join up and take part!
